When it comes to bass guitar effects, EBS is the go-to for many a professional player. That actually includes Jeff Berlin, who's clearly in love with the UniChorus. As the new and improved True Bypass Studio Edition, this effect pedal can be extensively set up and even offers you 3dB of extra headroom. Typical '90s-style signal interference fortunately doesn't come with the EBS UniChorus, so what you do get, are fully defined bass line dynamics.

The UniChorus Studio Edition: 3 Analogue Modulation Sounds

As most bassists know, the EBS Studio Edition Series effects pedals are some of the best you can get. Loaded with an analogue circuit, this modulation stompbox offers the same rich and warm tone. You may even already know that next to chorus, this unit can also deploy a flanger effect when switched into the first mode, and a pitch mod effect when kicked into the third and final setting. Meanwhile, the Mix pot can be used to blend the effect and clean signals as you see fit. For optimal performance and sound, it's recommended to use a 12V DC power supply, although the UniChorus Studio Edition is also compatible with 9V power supplies and can even be used in combination with keyboards.

• Please note: It's recommended to power the stompbox using a 9V or 12V DC adapter. The stompbox is protected against 18V peak currents, as any higher voltages can cause serious damage to the effects pedal.
